Making Tax Digital
Making Tax Digital is the UK government's initiative to ensure all UK registered businesses submit their various tax returns electronically ie only using commercially approved software. As part of this initiative the vast majority of UK registered businesses will be required to submit VAT returns electronically from the 1st April 2019.
All the latest releases of Sage 50 and Sage 200 are MTD compliant. As a Sage user, you will need to ensure you are on the latest versions.
Sage have also released a MTD module that will provide for group VAT submissions.
